I really like this local bronze statue and was kinda appalled that someone snapped a finger off of the figure. I used my camera and 3d scanned the whole statue and took measurements, went home and digitally reconstructed a finger, 3d printed it, and re-attached. It's a temporary "band-aid" fix, but turned into a pretty cool nerdy project for myself I really enjoyed. The community and local college is now involved and cast a permenant bronze finger from my print. Total cost was under $100. Amazing project and a cool way to get the community involved.
