Bird Beaks Museum Exhibit

I did a lot of scans this summer for a local museum. I traveled all over California using a structured light scanner to scan taxidermy bird specimens. These were scanned and reconstructed digitally and printed on my Form 2 3D printer. The end result is a wall of bird beaks showing the variations and uses for their environment and you can physically pick them up and examine them off of the wall. It was a fun summer project.
